Westside Smoke, previously Blono Pizza Co., is a locally-owned, family-friendly pizza restaurant & sports bar. Not only are they known for their great food and large beer selection, but their TopTracer Golf Range draws in customers from all over central Illinois. In the summer of 2024, they expanded their footprint by renovating the second floor, where this mural was installed, and rebranding to Westside Smoke. This brought Duckpin bowling, barbecue, and bourbon to the menu. The mural was 28 feet wide by 10 feet tall, totaling 280 square feet.

Mural Description: TopTracer Golf is referenced in the top left corner with the golf ball, and also the tees that can be see towards the bottom right of the image. Duckpin Bowling is represented by the pins in the top right and the wooden bowling lane directly below those. The orange and gold through the center symbolizes craft beer with foam, while the targets reference the precision that both sports require. Lastly, the restaurant has long been know for it’s pizza and I wanted to pay homage (abstractly) to that with the blue and green “slices” found in the bottom right corner.
